The FSC is the only environmental education charity dedicated solely to helping people of all ages to discover, explore and be inspired by the natural environment.

JOIN THE FSC!

As a registered charity, the FSC receives no statutory funding. We therefore depend on membership and fees charged for our courses and other services to support the work we do.
You can help us to achieve our mission of ‘bringing environmental understanding to all’ by becoming a FSC member. Membership of the FSC costs only £15 a year for individuals or £25 a year for families. At least £5 of your membership fee will be donated directly to FSC Kids Fund helping disadvantaged young people to experience the natural world at an FSC centre. Find out more about the Kids Fund.

You can make your subscription go further if you are over 18 and a UK tax payer. By making a Gift Aid declaration you can help us to claim almost a third extra from the government on top of your membership subscription and any future donations that you make

Your membership will help us to:

  • Support FSC Kids Fund and provide life changing experiences for disadvantaged young people
  • Campaign to promote fieldwork and outdoor learning
  • Provide people with opportunities to learn more about the nature world on courses and publications
  • Invest in our centre facilities

  • FSC members magazine twice a year  including regular updates on Kids fund courses you have supported
  • Exclusive preview of FSC natural history and arts courses programme
