About Young Darwin Scholars
All Young Darwin Scholars (YDS) have one thing in common - a real interest in the natural world whether a keen general interest or a specialist subject which they wish to develop. This mix of specialist and generalist means that during their introductory residential, What would Darwin do today’ the Young Darwin Scholars not only benefit from working with experts but also help each other. This shared interest is something that is often lacking in their school or other friendship groups and gives YDS a chance to discuss topics long after the introductory course.
