Field Studies Council: Bringing Environmental Understanding to All

Making a Donation

Your donation will help FSC provide direct financial support to help young people to learn more about the natural world through an FSC experience. Every £ donated will be used to provide financial support for young people.

We believe that the only way you can learn about and appreciate the environment is by getting outside, experiencing it and having some fun!

How your donation can help us support young people

  • FSC Kids Fund provides financial support for groups of disadvantaged young people from schools, youth or community groups who would like to visit one of our centres for an FSC experience.
  • FSC Bursaries are awarded to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to join their class on an FSC curriculum course.
  • The Young Darwin Scholarship provides encouragement and long term support for young people who are passionate about the natural world - the next Charles Darwin.

By helping young people experience an FSC course we hope that we can engender enthusiasm and a love of the natural world which may continue into adulthood. Your donation however large or small will help us extend this opportunity to more young people.

£15 helps us support one young person on a day visit to an FSC Centre

£139 enables a young person to enjoy a two night residential experience

£1800 provides a four night residential for a group of 10 young people
